An Atlanta native, Ashley earned her law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she was a member of the Editorial Board of the Georgia Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif, an honor reserved for students graduating in the top 10% of their class. Ashley also completed her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, at UGA as a participant in the prestigious Honors Program. After practicing in “Big Law,” Ashley transitioned to public service as an Assistant Regional Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel of the Social Security Administration, where she advised and represented the agency in disability and employment law matters for roughly a decade. Prior to joining McMichael & Gray, Ashley represented developers, builders, purchasers, sellers, and lenders in transactions at all phases of residential real estate, from land acquisition and development to closing homebuyer sales and refinancings.
